About the Lucy Bronze Scholarship
Launched by AF Global in partnership with football legend Lucy Bronze and utilising aiScout, the Lucy Bronze Scholarship was a groundbreaking initiative designed to empower the next generation of female footballers in the UK
Who was it for?
The competition was open to girls born between 1st Sept 2008 – 31st Aug 2009 who held a UK passport, and were ready to shine both on the pitch and in the classroom
What was at stake?
The winner received a fully-funded boarding place worth over £100,000 at one of the UK’s top football academies and training hubs, covering:

Elite football coaching

The competition was powered by aiScout, the revolutionary app that brought elite scouting opportunities to girls across the UK - straight from their smartphones
Participants completed and uploaded six football drills, which were analysed by experts and reviewed by Lucy Bronze and her selection panel. The app broke down traditional barriers, allowing talented female footballers from all backgrounds to be seen, evaluated, and given a chance to shine
