Elite Player Mentoring Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all participants enrolled in the Elite Player Mentoring programme operated by AFG Mentoring Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By registering for or subscribing to the Programme, the Player and Parent or Guardian agree to be bound by these Terms

1. About the Programme

Elite Player Mentoring is a high-level mentorship and development programme designed to support aspiring elite footballers aged 14–20. The Programme provides guidance across performance, mindset, leadership and career decision-making alongside a Player’s existing club, academy or school environment.

The Programme is delivered remotely, with optional in-person workshops subject to acceptance, availability and capacity.

2. Important Disclaimer

Participation in the Programme does not guarantee:

• Selection, trials or contracts with professional clubs

• Scholarships or pathway progression

• Specific performance outcomes

All football decisions remain at the discretion of clubs, academies, leagues and governing bodies. The Programme is advisory and developmental in nature.

3. Eligibility and Acceptance

• Players must be aged 14–20 at the time of enrolment

• Players under 18 must register with consent from a Parent or Guardian

• Acceptance onto the Programme is at our discretion

• Tier 2 Elite Accelerator places are invitation only

• We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw access if participation is deemed unsuitable or misaligned with Programme values

4. Subscription and Fees

• Tier 1 is charged at £295 per calendar month, billed in advance

• Tier 2 pricing is bespoke and agreed in writing

• All subscriptions are recurring monthly unless cancelled

• Fees are non-refundable once a subscription month has commenced

• Failure to pay may result in immediate suspension of access

5. Cancellation Policy

• Subscriptions operate on a one calendar month notice period

• Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email

• Access continues until the end of the final paid month

• No refunds are issued for unused sessions or partial months

6. Delivery of Services

• Remote mentoring sessions are delivered digitally during UK term time

• Session lengths and frequencies vary by tier

• In-person workshops are subject to availability, location and safeguarding requirements

• We reserve the right to reschedule sessions or substitute mentors where necessary

7. Player Responsibilities and Conduct

Players are expected to:

• Engage respectfully and professionally

• Attend sessions on time and prepared

• Use communication platforms appropriately

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access without refund for:

• Abusive or inappropriate behaviour

• Breach of safeguarding expectations

• Misuse of programme platforms or materials

Missed sessions without reasonable notice are not guaranteed to be rescheduled.

8. Safeguarding Policy

Our Commitment

AFG Mentoring Ltd is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people. We operate a zero-tolerance approach to abuse, exploitation or inappropriate conduct.

Safeguarding Measures

• All mentors and staff are appropriately vetted

• Communication with under-18s follows safeguarding best practice

• Sessions may be recorded for safeguarding and quality assurance

• Parents or Guardians may be included in communications where appropriate

Concerns and Reporting

Any safeguarding concerns should be reported immediately to:

Where required, concerns will be escalated to appropriate statutory authorities.

9. Health, Medical and Welfare

• Parents or Guardians must disclose relevant medical, dietary or educational needs at registration

• Players are responsible for managing their own physical training load

• We do not provide medical treatment or injury rehabilitation services

10. Data Protection and Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

We may collect and store:

• Personal and contact information

• Performance data and video analysis

• Session notes and development plans

Anonymised data may be used for programme improvement and reporting.

11. Intellectual Property

All programme content, materials, frameworks and recordings remain the intellectual property of AFG Mentoring Ltd. Content may not be shared, copied or distributed without written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

• Participation is at the Player’s own risk

• We are not responsible for injuries, selection decisions or third-party outcomes

• Our liability is limited to the total subscription fees paid in the preceding three months, except where prohibited by law

13. Programme Changes and Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Modify Programme content or delivery

• Suspend or terminate access for serious breaches

• Discontinue the Programme with reasonable notice

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

15. Acceptance

By submitting the registration form and ticking the acceptance box, the Player and Parent or Guardian confirm that they have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
