Greg Thurstans – CEO & Co-Founder, AF Global Football
Greg Thurstans is the CEO and Co-Founder of AF Global Football, where he leads the organisation’s mission to integrate elite football development with world-class academic education. With over two decades of experience across both coaching and education, Greg brings a unique perspective to talent development that prioritises the holistic growth of young athletes.
A UEFA ‘A’ Licence coach and qualified goalkeeping coach, Greg’s career includes coaching roles at Crystal Palace Academy and with the England Independent Schools U16 and U18 squads. Prior to founding AF Global Football, he spent eight years as Director of Sport at a leading HMC independent school, where he developed high-performance programmes combining academic and athletic excellence.
Greg is passionate about creating opportunities that allow players to thrive both on and off the pitch. Under his leadership, AF Global Football has expanded across the UK and Spain, delivering top-tier coaching, competitive opportunities, and educational pathways that prepare players for success both in football and in life.
